House Tour - Sunday, May 18th

ImageThe 2008 Brighton Heights Chocolate House Tour will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2008 from 1 to 5 PM. We are happy to showcase our neighborhood which boasts an exciting mix of architectural styles and attractive landscaping designs. This year's tour will begin at St Cyril's Church on Brighton Road and cover the area West and North of the church.

What exactly is a chocolate house tour? We have been asked if we have a chocolate house here. Well, no, none of the houses are actually made of chocolate, but each home will have some form of chocolate treat for the visitors. You will get a double bonus – great homes and tasty treats.

Brighton Heights Sign Dedication

Sign Dedication

Mayor Luke Ravenstahl, Don Walko, and Darlene Harris joined Pete Bellisario and members of the Brighton Heights Citizens Federation on Monday, April 21st to dedicate the new Brighton Heights sign on the corner of Ohio River and Brighton Heights Boulevard and acknowledge the efforts of the community to improve the Brighton Heights Portal area.

The Federation would like to thank the many neighborhood volunteers, Urban Impact, Boy and Girl Scouts of America, the Mayor's Green Up and Redd Up Crews for their help. Senator Don Walko, Mayor Luke Ravenstahl, National City Bank, and the Community Design Center of Pittsburgh have generously provided grant money to support our efforts.
